All sale items are non-refundable - no dress is sent out with any defects unless mentioned. A credit note may be issued is agreed with the management.
Terms and Conditions
By placing an order with Sugar and Spice UK, you will be in acceptance of these terms
and conditions, which form a legally binding contract between you (the customer)
and us (Sugar and Spice UK).
Payment
A 50% non-returnable DEPOSIT will be required for all non-stock orders. Full payment will become due within 14 days of items arriving into stock.
Failure to make the agreed payment on time without prior agreement will result in
the items been forfeited and all deposits lost.
We accept payment by Cash, Switch, Visa or MasterCard. Cheques can only be accepted
as a deposit payment. Please make the cheques payable to ‘Carols Christening Wear.
To
ensure unnecessary problems arising, please make certain that the correct size/colour
has been ordered by looking at the size charts and measuring yourself correctly.
Most Bridesmaids/Prom dresses will need minor alterations by a seamstress to ensure
the perfect fit. In house alterations available for a fee.
Bear this in mind; it is possible to alter a dress to make it smaller but not larger.
Special orders cannot be exchanged unless deemed to be faulty. This includes all items
that have been made to order.
Delivery Times
Some items can be despatched to the shop within a week if in stock. Others will need
to be ordered and take several weeks to be despatched depending on the item and the
manufacturer’s lead times.
To ensure that items are delivered in time for your wedding/proms,
please note the estimated times for special order items:
Prom Dresses approximately
12 weeks
Bridesmaid Dresses approximately 12 weeks ( 6 week rush cut service available
at an extra cost)
Tiaras approximately 4 weeks
Refunds
Any refunds offered will be at the discretion of the management; these will be in
the form of a ‘Credit Note’.
